“I advise where law becomes entrepreneurial – strategically, internationally and practically. Understanding complex issues, developing viable solutions and strengthening corporate integrity in the process – this is precisely where our work comes into its own .”
Simon Schäfer advises clients primarily in the areas of compliance and corporate governance. A particular focus of his work is also on complex internal investigations – especially in connection with cross-border compliance violations, regulatory proceedings or suspected cases of corruption, fraud and other white-collar criminal offenses.
He also has extensive experience in auditing compliance management systems, including in the context of compliance monitorships, as well as in providing strategic and organizational compliance advice. He also specializes in corporate law – in particular issues relating to directors’ and officers’ liability (D&O), governance structures and internal corporate responsibilities.
