Senior Advisor

Home Team Dr. Horst Schlemminger

For many years, Horst Schlemminger was regarded nationally (JUVE, Best Lawyers Germany, Who’s Who Legal) and Europe-wide (Chambers) as one of the leading advisors in the field of environmental and planning law. His practical experience also extended to all areas of the real estate industry. His clients have included industrial companies, real estate investors and public sector companies. His expertise included in particular risk management and best practice in the areas of environmental claims management, environmental management systems, environmental compliance and remediation contracts. He specialized in the value-enhancing separation of environmental liability risks and developed new contractual constructions around “green building”.

Horst Schlemminger has worked on numerous major projects and in crisis situations – in some cases in a leading role and in addition to providing legal advice – as an advisor on compliance health checks and internal investigations. Following his retirement as a partner and the end of his work as a lawyer, he continues to support Pohlmann & Company as a senior advisor.
