Effective supervisory board work in the age of increasing compliance regulations
In the October issue of the expert magazine “Der Aufsichtsrat”, Nicole Willms and Carola Stark discuss how new compliance regulations, legislative initiatives and the resulting compliance management and best practice expectations are changing the supervisory and advisory role of the supervisory board. Supervisory boards must rethink their work in terms of quality and transparency and break up old structures. This requires a proactive and holistic approach with foresight. How such a reorientation can succeed is the subject of this article.
