This is
Pohlmann & Company

As tried-and-tested compliance experts, we support companies and their management in acting responsibly – even in times of crisis.

At Pohlmann & Company, we are driven by one thing above all: We are always looking for solutions that not only have a short-term effect, but also bring about lasting change. Since 2012, we have been shaping compliance worldwide with innovative strategies and setting industry standards.

Consisting of former industry executives, first-class lawyers and experienced management consultants, our team works hand in hand and combines legal expertise with a practice-oriented approach.

As a young, up-and-coming law firm at the time, Pohlmann & Company was selected for the VEON Compliance Monitorship by the US Department of Justice and the SEC in 2016 – a decision that came as a surprise to many.

Our work was not only recognized, but still serves as a model today, even for US authorities.

The questions that drove us back then: “What is sustainable?”, “What is practicable in the corporate context?” are questions we still ask ourselves today with every new project.

Our team creates solutions that last in the long term and offer real added value. From the initial idea to the final implementation: we act with courage, foresight and a clear goal in mind – the success of our clients. We are not afraid to take on unconventional challenges.

Pohlmann & Company is not only at home in the world of law. We have learned to empathize deeply with the challenges faced by the companies we advise.

We do not think in terms of rigid regulations, but in terms of tangible solutions. This mix of legal precision and practical foresight is what makes us unique.

History

2025

Merger and rebranding

Following the departure of the founders, Pohlmann & Company is united as a legal and management consultancy in a joint company. The interdisciplinary consulting services in the areas of compliance, governance and investigations are now fully integrated and offered from a single source. The generational change and merger are accompanied by a rebranding and a new company website.

2024

Relay handover

Founders Dr. Andreas Pohlmann and Thomas Lüthi are leaving the partnership and handing over the firm’s fortunes to the five equity partners Willms, Beer, Kahlenberg, Erling and Schorn.
At the same time, Sascha Kuhn joins as a further partner and strengthens the areas of internal investigations and data protection in particular.
Dr. Pohlmann remains associated with the firm as Of Counsel.

2022

10 years of Pohlmann & Company

The law firm is celebrating its 10th anniversary and can look back on an impressive number of exciting and successful years in which it has succeeded in steadily expanding its reputation as a first-class compliance boutique. Numerous awards accompany the success story.

2021

Compliance Monitorship

The second US DOJ/SEC monitorship, with the mobile network equipment provider Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson, reinforces Pohlmann & Company’s unique international reputation in the field of compliance consulting and internal investigations. We are regarded as the “first port of call” for clients when it comes to guiding companies, management boards or supervisory boards through complex situations in an independent, crisis-tested and goal-oriented manner.

Sustainability and climate protection

The consistent expansion of the environmental law team and the early focus on corporate social responsibility help us to react flexibly and competently to current challenges, such as the topic of ESG. The focus on sustainable and responsible management is also increasingly reflected in new ideas and initiatives to equip the advisory portfolio for the future.

Further strengthening at partner level

In November, Dr. Martin Schorn, an expert in white-collar criminal law, joins the firm after more than 13 years at Noerr and further expands the area of internal investigations in particular with well-known clients.
